The Moncrieff Shoe Shop
Two photographs showing the demolition of an early Moncrieff shoe shop on Brow Top, Workington.
Believed to have been taken c. 1905.

Just to the right of the horse's head in the second photograph are the steps leading down to the allotments on the Cloffocks. The wall of the old Central Railway bridge can be seen in both photographs.
An advertising leaflet produced between the wars. John and Robert finally closed the business in 1960 and the premises were taken over by Whelan the chemist
